Anti-Haul – New products that I won’t be buying.

I’ve seen a few of these Anti-Haul videos on YouTube and I always really enjoy them, the first one I saw was by @tifjef069 and it was hilarious, she’s done 4 so far and they’re all really entertaining. I thought I’d give it a go myself as there are a few new products that have been released recently that I just cannot get excited about nor do I think I’ll bother to buy them.

The first one is the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette. I’ll be honest and say that it looks beautiful, there are some truly stunning shades in there and I’ve no doubt it’ll perform amazingly. The kicker for me is the price point – it’s $129 which is roughly £100. I absolutely cannot justify spending £100 on a palette that contains shades that I more than likely already have in my collection. To me that’s just a crazy price and double what I’d be willing to spend on a palette. I’d be happy to pick this up if it was a little easier on the bank balance but no, I just can’t get my head around the price point.

Next is the KKWxKylie Cosmetics collection. This one is a bit different as I actually really would love to get this but I’m not willing to go through the rush of placing an order the second they’re released, I haven’t done it with any Kylie Cosmetics products before as I just don’t have the patience to wait until a certain time and then go in all guns blazing just to get my hands on some lip glosses. I also don’t want the sting of customs that seems to come with all of the Kylie Cosmetics products. If these were going to be available permanently I’d definitely consider picking them up but as far as I’m aware this is a limited collection and I just don’t have the willpower to attempt getting them. I just wish she’d sort out a UK stockist!

Next are the Toofaced Prismatic highlighters that were released as part of their Spring collection. They look stunning and the packaging is incredible, I was actually about to order one or two of these and then I looked up some reviews and swatches and unfortunately they just don’t seem to perform well. I’ve heard that they offer more of a subtle, natural glow which is brilliant if you like that but usually if I’m going to the effort of putting highlighter on I’ll want something that’s really going to pop.

And finally, the BeccaxChrissy palette by Becca Cosmetics. I’m a huge fan of Chrissy Teigen, I think she’s hilarious and absolutely stunning so I’m a bit conflicted here! But I really can’t see myself buying this palette, it just doesn’t stand out enough to me. I don’t think the highlighters will suit my skin tone very well and I wouldn’t buy it just for the blush and bronzer. I’m sure this palette will look beautiful on those that do buy it, but I just don’t think it’s a good match for me.

So these are the small handful of items that have been/are due to be released recently that I will not be spending money on. Do you own any of these products? Let me know what you think of them below, who knows – maybe you’ll change my mind!
