I don’t usually do favourites posts, mostly because I don’t tend to go out monthly and buy a crap ton of new products. However with my recent birthday I did pick up a few more items than usual and I’ve got quite a list of things that I’ve been loving.
First is the Zoeva Graphic Brows brow pencil in Arsenic. I’ve been looking for a really cool toned light brown eyebrow pencil for ages, it’s the only shade I’ve tried that genuinely matches my natural eyebrow colour, all the pencils I’ve used in the past have either been too dark or too warm. I saw this pencil on Beauty Bay and the reviews sounded great so I thought I’d give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! It’s absolutely incredible, the pencil itself is very small which I find makes it easier to get a really defined shape, it also lasts all day and doesn’t fade which is really important to me in a brow pencil.
Next is the Urban Decay Afterglow highlight palette, I’ve already done a full review on the palette here if you wanted a little more information. It’s safe to say that I’ve been using this non stop for the last two months!
Another Zoeva product has made it’s way into my favourites – the Zoeva Cat Eye Pen, it’s a liquid eyeliner in the felt tip style, these tend to be my favourite type of liquid eyeliner although they can sometimes be a little stiff and hard to work with. The tip of this however is quite small and flexible enough to allow you to get a really precise line. Just like the eyebrow pencil this doesn’t budge all day, it’s also super black which means your eyeliner looks great for hours.
My skincare products tend to change quite frequently depending on my needs, but one product I’ve consistently used for the last few weeks is the Kirakira Studio AHA Facial Wash, I did a full review of it here if you want to know more, but it’s safe to say that I’ve found a new favourite!
Now that the weather is cooling down (a lot) I use a lip balm constantly, and the one I’ve been using recently is the Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose. I don’t go anywhere without this, the tin is small enough to pop in my bag which is handy. It makes my lips really soft and it smells like raspberry sweets which is probably 90% of the reason I use it so much, not gonna lie.
My hair tends to get really dry so I’m always looking for products that will add moisture and shine, I usually get this through my shampoo and conditioner but lately I’ve been using the OGX Kukui Oil on my hair before and after drying it and it’s completely changed the texture of my hair. Instead of the usual frizz bomb that my hair used to be, it’s now really silky and shiny, plus this oil smells absolutely incredible.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
